Pattaya Excursions and Attractions

Pattaya is home to many excursions and attractions ranging from cultural shows all the way up to natural and historical wonders. You can wonder around the multiple Chelsea flower show gold medal winning Nong Nooch Gardens or just spend the day at nearby Koh Larn island with ferries running hourly from the nearby port. Elephant Village

See a day in the life of a working elephant. You will see a demonstration of power and strength as well as bath time and playtime too. Everyone get a chance to ride an elephant, plenty of photo opportunities, a pleasant afternoon excursion. (shows are between 14.30 and 16.00 hrs)

 

Elephant Trekking

A one hour excursion on well-trained elephant is an experience that should not be missed. The elephant will take you out into the countryside around Pattaya. You an also taste some of the best Thai seasonal fruits at the same time.

 

The Elephant Village Combination

The most adventurous trip in Pattaya includes various activities in one trip – you can enjoy trekking on an elephant, jungle walks along the river and then rafting across a local lake. You are then taken by ox-cart back to the village where lunch or dinner will be served with fruits. This trip lasts approximately 3 and a half hours and runs daily.

 

Nong Nooch Village

For those who like a touch of beauty and culture Nong Nooch Village is ideal. This half day tour is your opportunity to experience many aspects of Thai culture in a short time. The village itself is set in landscaped gardens with natural land features and a fabulous waterfall. Whilst you are there you will see displays of Thai Boxing, traditional sword fighting and the most beautiful traditional Thai dancing with amazing costumes.

 

The Million Years Stone Park & Pattaya Crocodile Farm

This trip features magnificent natural gardens complete with dwarfed trees plus a variety of plants and colorful flowers in a superb rock garden where million years old trees have petrified into rock form. The park also features rose gardens, vertebrate creatures, aquatic creatures and a wild animal show.

 

Tiger Land Park

A short 30 minute drive outside Pattaya will bring you to the world‘s largest tiger zoo. The day consists of a guided tour of the park with the opportunity to have photos taken with baby tigers in their compound. There are many other animals to see and feed plus elephant rides are also available.

 

Coral Island trips

Visit Koh Larn, which is the closest island to Pattaya where the water is so clear that you can see the seabed! A one hour boat trip will bring you to to laze in the sun (ferry) or you can take a 20 minute speed boat ride. On the island you can take part in plenty of water sports, explore the island or just simply relax!

 

The Sanctuary of Truth

On the seashore of Rachvate Cape, Pattaya a construction called “The Sanctuary of Truth“ is found among many modern buildings. It is not only a replica of an ancient art but also power of contemporary creation. The parts emerging from its foundation are all built of wood to meet the intention of constructing the real “Wooden Sanctuary“.

 

Mini Siam & Mini World

Thailands first wonder displaying Thai heritage on miniature scale bring together more than 100 models of important art objects and historical sites throughout the kingdom. These models each reproduced on a scale of 1:25 on the area about 12 Acres by Thai arts handcrafts. The park is comfortable in a natural atmosphere and it is really quite beautiful.

Samed Island

This island truly deserves it’s name of paradise island. Nice beach and white sand, the sea is warm, clear and refreshing. The palm trees sway in the gentle breeze and it is a great place to relax and “recharge your batteries”.

 

Sapphire Mines trip

An interesting scenic journey to the province of Chanthaburi (east of Rayong) to see the mining fields where sapphires, topazes and spinal rubies are found. On route you will visit tapioca and rubber plantations, a fruit orchard and a fishing village.
