Solar Golf and Eastern Star Country Club and Resort have combined to bring you great golf on a Robert Trent Jones Jr. Championship course on the East Coast. You will stay alongside the 2nd hole in luxury 2 bedroom self catering apartments with lounge, kitchen, en suite bathroom and private balcony. These 180 sqm apartments are fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing holiday including all utensils, telephone and satellite/cable TV.
The golf course is one of the prettiest 18 holes on the Eastern Seaboard featuring plenty of water hazards across a variety of scenic holes. We love the par five 8th which is a real risk/reward hole reachable in 2. There is a driving range and short game area to help you fine tune your game before or after your round.
In addition to golf, the resort features a sports complex, 2 swimming pools, fitness centre and tennis court. The clubhouse serves breakfast lunch and dinner in their restaurant overlooking the golf course. The beach is about 1 km away and there is a large town with bars, restaurants and supermarket just 3 km from the resort.

Solar Golf has combined with the luxurious Tara Court Suites to offer a really special luxury golf package. Your holiday is based on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard – home to some of Asia’s finest golf courses. These programmes combine the best golf with top class accommodation and legendary Irish hospitality.
Your holiday starts with meeting you on arrival at Bangkok airport and then transferring you in air-conditioned cars or buses to the Tara Court in Jomtien. Transfer time is generally around 90 minutes. On arrival, you will join your hosts for a relaxing drink at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill for your first taste of Thai and Irish hospitality. You will check in to luxury studio rooms with fine furnishing and fittings including flat screen LCD TV, sumptuous king size bed, spacious bathrooms with rain shower, large refrigerator, kitchen, seating area and a private balcony.
The golf programme features a selection of the finest courses on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard including the Jack Nicklaus designed Laem Chabang and Pattana – a 2008 addition to the Asian Tour programme. Each golf day you will be collected from the Tara Court by our English-speaking golf guide who will escort you to the first tee. Every golf day includes green fees, transport, caddy fees and a buggy share (or single buggy). All you pay for are caddy tips and your refreshments.
At the end of your holiday, we will bid you a fond farewell at Bangkok Airport for your flight home!
