Phuket
is famous as an international beach holiday
destination with a myriad of tourist beaches and
hotels. Sun, sea and sand are the main attractions
of Phuket with over one third of Thailand’s visitors
holidaying on the largest island. There are a number
of charming islands off the coast of Phuket that can
be explored on one of many organised excursions.
There are 8 golf courses on
Phuket island including the famous Blue Canyon and
the Jack Nicklaus designed Mission Hills. Golf is
more expensive on Phuket compared to the rest of
Thailand – largely due to the cost of land and it’s
popularity with golfers from Hong Kong and
Singapore.
If you are looking for a combination of a beach
holiday with some first class golf courses, Phuket
is an obvious choice. The transfer time by air from
Bangkok is around 1 hour.

golf is more expensive here compared
with Pattaya and Chiang Mai.
