The city stretches around a bay and is separated into two main centres – Pattaya and Jomtien. The main nightlife is centred on Central and South Pattaya and a number of hotels are located in the South and Central areas. North Pattaya is a residential and commercial area with many hotels scattered along the side streets and the edge of the bay. Pattaya and Jomtien are separated by Pratamnak Hill – a peaceful area topped by the big Buddha temple. There is a beach at the foot of Pratamnak Hill where visitors can relax and enjoy food or a massage while they soak up the sun.

Pattaya is an ideal choice if you want to play a wide variety of courses and enjoy the nightlife. There are lots of activities and excursions for the non-golfer and plenty to do when you are taking a break from golf. Pattaya is also a good choice for a budget holiday because hotels and golf courses tend to be priced lower than the rest of Thailand.
